Safety and fun priority for ‘Aussie Day’ revelers
Friday, 09 January 2009 00:00

AUSTRALIA Day is fast approaching and people looking to hit the great outdoors without compromising on the safety and creature comforts they enjoy at home need look no further than their chosen mode of transportation.

Michael Tyrrell Managing Director of Bainbridge Technologies said people could power everything they needed for the long-weekend by maximising the life and power quality of a battery.

“Anything with a battery, whether it is a boat, four wheel drive, motorbike, RV or campervan can be enhanced to provide the ultimate in safety and entertainment for the weekend,” he said.

“People can prevent holiday breakdowns by installing a battery monitor that reads the battery like a fuel gauge so you always know how much power you have left and drained batteries can be brought back to life instantly with specially designed battery chargers. There is really no excuse for people to be stranded because of a flat battery.”

Mr Tyrell said power inverters were the next necessary tool to enjoy the perfect Australia Day.

“Everyone loves to listen to music and enjoy a cold beer on Australia Day and with power inverters people can do this without having access to mains supply.

“Our range of DC to AC power inverters and inverter/charger combination units, produce high quality 240V AC electricity from batteries to run any appliances from a fridge to a stereo, DVD and computer. People can have all the luxuries and necessities they enjoy at home wherever they are on the road or water.

“It also means people can access an array of communication devices in the event of an emergency which will ensure a safe trip.”

People can prepare early for their trip and get everything they need to stay safe and enjoy the long weekend from Bainbridge Technologies’ once a year 50 percent off warehouse sale on 17th January 2009. The sale starts at 8.30am at Unit 3, 77 Shore Street, Cleveland.
